this is exactly why we cannot ever beat these crazies in their own backyard, on their sreets, in their allys, it is a "mindset" thing......a cultural thing...a historical thing... Hmm... I'm not sure what you mean by "proxy presence". But with regard to your comment above, all I can say is that Islamo-Fascists brought their war to OUR STREETS already... And since 9/11, we've taken the war to THEIR STREETS and haven't (yet.. knock on wood) seen them be able to muster the resources to launch another such devastating attack upon the US mainland. Believe me though.. in the "unseen" war that is going outside the media spotlight, we are indeed beating these crazies. I witnessed the takedown of the Mosul Al Qai'da network including Abu Talha. It was an incredible feat. And yes.. like a hydra, the heads keep regenerating, but they are smaller and less experienced. And they make even worse mistakes than their predecessors, which often means they get caught even more rapidly. Hawk
