I don't know if the disciples were prophets? It's my understanding they were followers of Christ who recorded and interpreted his teachings which were largely about the brotherhood of man. As I understand it, he was also opposed to the exclusivity of the Jews and the elitism of the rabbis. That they were all Jews is not really important because Jesus was also considered to be an Essene. In fact, some people say he came from India and also died there. Others say his descendants went to France or even Asia Minor. There are many stories about him. But he certainly didn't consider that he was a god or even the son of god. Indeed, although the Jewish religion does not encourage proselytism there has been much intermarriage over the years and also conversion, but there has been even more conversion and intermarriage out of the religion. Indeed, from a practical point of view, the Jewish religion can almost be considered an anachronism because compared to the approximately 12 million Jews in the world today there are 1.5 billion Muslims and 2 billion Christians. And, of course, there are also billions of Hindus and Buddhists who would be regarded as pagans by the followers of the theistic religions. I presume you are Jewish because you say "We, Jews". And if you say that only those who believe in the God of Abraham have the right to believe in God I would say, yes, the Jews did invent a conspiracy and, indeed, a conspiracy that has been propagated, not only by the Jewish religion, but also by Christianity and Islam. As far as I am concerned, God is universal and has nothing to do with religion. God is everywhere and in everything. Indeed, and for what it's worth, I consider we are all God's children -- whether we believe it or we don't.
