Those sound like fierce salmon, if they can stare all that environmental degradation in the face and just swim on like they just don't care. I wouldn't want to tangle with one of those babies going upstream to his girlfriend. uh-uh. And Snake River Canyon. I will bet it got its name from hordes of deadly Rattle snakes that festoon the canyon walls. If the river water is very muddy I will bet those snakes don't get much to drink, so that puts in them in a right foul mood. Nope. It won't be easy. I don't think it matters if the Headquarters of the Sierra Club is Snake River Idaho and Ansel Adams is buried there. The real uphill climb is fighting that vicious hostile desert environment. Then there are the crowds of angry potato pushers looking for a handout with their rich lobbyists hanging around the state capitol. And the corrupt and venial lawmakers who want ever and ever greater bribes to find the correct forms to advance a project. It won't be easy. I would say they need at least 5 million ounces of gold.
