TNX also has ignored the weak GDP numbers.

A bearish signal for bonds (and soon after stocks) IMHO.

We have previously discussed how out of whack this indicator is, infamous for its wild ass adjustments. Once again, they did not disappoint in that respect this month.

How they adjusted to that number is beyond my comprehension.

Look at bottom of page 2, the not seasonablly adjusted numbers. Inventory is sky high.

New home sales measure the moment the ink is on the contract, not closings. Based on all the homebuilders who had reported, there is simply no way that number is real. So there will be a quiet revision next month and all would be forgotten.
