Delta Burke is married to Gerald McRaney, both on Peter's list of conservatives in Hollywood. Yes, the show's powers that be were forever after Delta to shed pounds, apparently a losing (or not) proposition for her. Happy to hear that Dixie Carter got extra renumeration whenever her lines caused her to speak liberal. That's really cool! I think that clause in her contract must have made her a very wealthy woman. At least, I hope so. I well remember the show in which she was whining about missing a dinner with former President Jimmie Carter. I wonder how much extra she got for THAT episode? <g> - Holly
