Carolyn, I bought one of those books, for civil service exams, when I had some crazy notion of moving back to California and testing to work as a medical transcriptionist in the state prison system. I had thoughts of working in one of the prisons with an ocean view. I got over that crazy notion rather quickly and did not go and test, deciding to stay in my virtual office. I think I am a better person for it. <g>

FWIW, the book appears to be quite comprehensive and in depth. - Holly

Maybe the book is okay for some, but I always do better in an actual class environment. The instructor usually will give out tips on what to study, and what is important also..Plus you have the benefit of other's questions.
