I don't like fundamentalists of any sort- for me, personally, they are all the enemy- since they are highly illogical, and make decisions for the world I would not like, and they generally want to enforce them on everyone (and they see freedom as "force" on them- so they don't want other people to have choices that they consider "immoral" because that kind of freedom is "wrong"). So I agree with you that they are the "enemy" (or one subset of it). But what we were talking about was "war"- not who the enemy is. When you decide you have an enemy, you have many options- a "war" is usually the least efficient. And when I criticize your rhetoric for casting this whole debate in light of a war, I say that because I agree with you about who the enemy is, and I think your approach is actually a boon to the enemy- and exactly the kind of approach they would want you to take.
