COMS = 3COM. A CISCO underdoggy. It's still a Fred Hickey pick I read recently. I thought about it myself as well. I'm not entirely seeing it grow as momentum currently is somewhat doubtful (the chinees JV grows rev, but COMS rev is declining). The chinees JV is due to come under control (increase share from 49 to 51+%) subject to approval. The growth story is still to happen, and I'm not that sure that it ever actually will.
