I don't think that you are correct about this statement at all...

But the pro-choice side is also concerned about a specific choice in a specific situation, not all possible choices.

I think pro choice is for a women's RIGHT TO CHOOSE... and that right is to explore all options and have pros and cons of decisions she makes presented and the only final choice might be the abortion,,, but that OPTION is open and not illegal so that she has to go to underground or risk her
health.

I think it generally best to use the terms the groups use to describe themselves unless they are blatantly off.

Well, that's fine, Tim, but that's not how I see it. You are welcome to walk in your section of the park.

The so-called pro-life groups, to debate this a bit, not only don't take into account the life of the woman in their position, only the life of the fetus, but they refuse to address the issue of decreasing the incidence of abortion. How? By refusing to encourage the use of birth control devices and by opposing sex education.

IMO, abortion or not should not be the government's business. It maybe be the State's business. For whatever it's worth, the government should not pay a dime for an abortion. If a woman wants one, and she can find an insurance company to help with the cost, so much the better.

BUT I will say, we as a citizenry will have to decide some other things...and then maybe pick abortion back up as a topic.

Questions like:

If a woman who is carrying a fetus that would normally be viable out of the womb (6+ months), is killed by someone (whatever method) and the fetus/child is killed with her, is it one murder or two?

If a woman who is caring a fetus and continually abuses her body with alcohol and/or drugs, and has a child who dies in the womb, or shortly after delivery, is it murder?

etc etc etc.
