Even they people hiring illegals "get it" but they would rather sell out their country for a buck or two savings. Jim, it is not so callous as that. This is about survival. My buddy runs a machine shop. He has a friend that makes fixtures for a well known retailer. Retailer asked him to let go anyone unwilling to provide proper documentation that would be verified against government records. After the deadline passed, only 1 employee showed up out of 30. He had to hire temps, but couldn't hire fast enough to make delivery. So the retailer sent their business to China. BTW, the temps were illegals too, but it was the agency's job to check the papers, not his.
