Trouble with the whole concept is that one term is used to be so all inclusive...

Basically I am against killing anything but for a woman's right to choose what to do with her body.

I am against capital punishment but then if it were someone I loved who were murdered might I still be against it?

I cannot conceive of killing but if someone broke into my home and threatened me would I resort to shooting as I do have a gun and a permit. It was difficult for me to take the gun course at the time and I thought I will never use this. HOWEVER...

I love animals but had a few pets put down when they were very ill.

I used to fish until I equated killing fish with killing a living thing. Then I made a rule that I would only kill what I ate. Then this went by the side as it became more distasteful to me.

What I see is that there is a lot of ambiguity in decision and EMOTIONS come into play so much of the time.

This is another reason for why it's so difficult to be label as one could wear a banner for one point of view but then believe in something else that would negate that position.

If you could be more specific I would have a better time with your posts. Are you pro life... or do you wear a label as to what you believe.?
