re: Future historians will paint the Bush regeime as a bunch of clownish, clueless idiots who's policies harmed our country. Our country was built on cheap gasoline, and depends on it more than any other country on earth. The Bushies foreign policies have added $20 at least to the cost of every barrel of oil, a cost that is paid by every American a goes straight to funding countries that support our enemies.

5% of the population; 25% of the consumption. When things break bad in the oil markets; and it's not if, it's when; then we are going to take the brunt of the pain because we are the most (wimp) dependent.

Imagine a 50% cut in gasoline supply. 1/2 of workers not being able to get to their jobs... 1/2 of goods (food, medicine, other stuff) not getting through the supply chain.

It's not a joke... as I've said before, terrorism is a pimple on our ass compared to our real problems.
