The Chairperson of the Senate Judiciary Committee is not a Democrat. He has expressed his reservations on the President's "unilateral actions" on internal surveillance.

The law talks about FISA and no person in this country, including the President can break any laws. If there is one person in this country who has a significant influence on changing the law, it is the President. But certainly the President cannot "break the law" as he did and defended during the press conference.

Do you support vigilantism? If your answer is no then that is what the President did.

Let us hope that this Administration, who lies about how the info on Valerie Plame was used, has not done so with the info it got from the domestic eavesdropping. Let us hope he tells the nation how these years of eavesdropping has thwarted any impending terrorist attack.
