Speaking of frustration - just read this over at craigslist: I have reached the unfortunate conclusion < nonanon > 01/28 22:38:26 that many of the foundations and principles that parents and schools teach their children are essentially fairy tales. But I understand why they do it: they don't want to crush a young person's will to live by telling them the real truth. They'll just leave it to the kids to grow up and figure it out on their own, like everyone else does, eventually.
