Bald man was a real character and always made me laugh - I remember 2mar$ too - I think he is still around somewhere - but notice several of those posters are gone from our community - either they got so rich they retired or they went into so much debt they jumped off the building! HAHA

I have just been told in PM he got divorced - moved to the phillipines and started banging lots of young women there. I dont remember you around then Vosilla - but it was wild times - showed you just how friggin rigged wall street was -

Further reading that thread is a GOOD education in investor mentality when they just now say its time to SHORT - hehe

Ashley800, my first short was $155. I was hedging my YHOO/AOL at that time. But YHOO/AOL did go down a lot (50% or so) but JNPR never had a decent correction. I still expect to make money on shorting JNPR. This is very much like AMZN. I was losing big on short AMZN last Dec.. But by this March, I made all my lose back and plus more.

Bill, my today's short JNPR at $299 looks pretty good now. Maybe tomorrow I will be in the black for my short operation on JNPR. Are you still hold JNPR? Do you have a stop loss point?

Say what you will about JNPR, managment sure knows how to "manage" shortsellers.

Exactly. Cramer is acknowledging the new market valuation dynamics ignored by so many here.

BTW, I took some profits in the 100s, but kept half.

I like the way they get a $7 Million order and get over $2 Billion added to their market cap.

I really do like it. I bought one Dec 300 call yesterday and sold it today for nearly triple what I paid for it. Nice way to make 2 grand !

Correction. The entire core market for high end routers WILL be $1.4 billion by 2003. Of this market, Cisco has 85% market share. Juniper's market cap is $17 billion. Logic anyone? If we are generous and give Juniper a value of 10 times 2003 revenues, if Juniper takes 25% market share, Juniper should have a market cap of $3.5 billion. Translated to stock price, Juniper's stock price should be at $67.

$330 is a complete joke.

All the old friends - cramer - valuations - booms and busts - damn that was fun times back then - I miss baldie!
