elp~ at one of the stop lights i came upon this guy in a devil suit who was blowing fire out of his mouth. by the time he got to my truck he was out of fuel and all he could do was look at me as i snapped a picture.. that reminded me of a guy that i saw in phoenix a few years ago. he was dressed up in a very grubby and beat-up "red pepper" costume, and was dancing rather wearily in the hot sun on the sidewalk outside of a restaurant. we had to stop for a red light and i felt sorry for the dude. i ended up writing a short story inspired by the sight of it.
