Russert, that most liberal of guys who spent the last campaign with a Bush/Cheney button tucked underneath his lapel, noted to that idiot Frist that the milestone of the first 5 years SUCK. Deficit up 44%! Unemployment up 17%! You Republicans call this conservatism???????? etc. Frist's response (he looked like he wanted to either cry or wring Russert's neck LOL): But wait! But wait! Our government revenues are up 14% last year! OMG. Republicans are crowing about increasing tax revenues into the federal government supposedly for things like Katrina which they haven't taken care of anyway? OMG. Republicans are going to run on a pro-tax growth basis now?
