TVX (now part of Kinross as you know) used to have a gold mine right on the boundary of Yellowstone NP. I think it was in Montana west of the park. That was in 1998 before the reality of the gold depression had set in. I'm sure it is shut down by now and maybe all references to it have been removed from the historic record, so no one tries to do it again.

I'm too lazy to look up a map, but I think Stillwater is within 200 miles of Old Faithful.

All we need is one more caldera eruption at Yellowstone. Then there won't be any greenies, or anyone else within about 200 miles of the place.
