Bush-Cheney have driven the Army into a ditch. The 50,000 forced to stay in Iraq deserve to come home. The Army is totally exhausted and over-extended and all the experts could see this coming years ago. But Bushies refused to change course. Why? Maybe something having to do with Halliburton and Big Oil profits. No other reason makes much sense. Bush's obsession with occupaying Iraq is the biggest mistake since LBJ's escalation of Vietnam. And in both cases Halliburton (Brown and Root) was the only winner.
