OK, so there's clicks that are humans, and clicks that are not humans.

Some clicks are humans. The point about advertising is that SOME clicks make it to a human who alters their decision making behavior. it's not about EVERY click.

So long as SOME clicks are having an effect on SOME humans, then advertisers are willing to pay for all the rest... whether or not they were humans.

Click fraud is an issue... but not the kind of issue you make it out to be. What it means is that neither Google nor google's customers can assume that ads are reaching consumers.

It's not unlike the late-night infomercials... how many cats and dogs are watching TV while their owners are snoring?
