LBJ and Nixon, not Kennedy. The rightwing had murdered JFK by then, probably in order to escalate the war. Probably the same type people behind Halliburton and Iraq now were behind killing JFK and escalating Vietnam. Why? Money. Halliburton alone has raked in ten billion from the Iraq war. Their subsidiary Brown + Root was the biggest contractor in Vietnam, and that war's only winner. Just like Halliburton is the only winner in Iraq. Follow the money and you'll find the culprits. Nixon took over for LBJ and escalated even more. He and LBJ were responsible. Not JFK. JFK was doing the right thing with a very limited counter-insurgency operation led by Green Berets. JFK was winning.
