LBJ was tied in with Brown+Root/Halliburton and big oil. LBJ did some good things, but he more than made up for whatever good he did by escalating the Vietnam War based on a big fat lie. This resulted in a huge cost to the USA. The biggest presidential blunder ever. But LBJ, unlike Bush, had the decency and humility to resign once his mistake and corruption were apparent. Bush doesn't care how many lies, error and broken laws he's caught at, he thinks he's above the law, despite the fact he's only supported by 35-40% of Americans. Most Americans disapprove of Bush and want him impeached.
