When you talk to the people who support Bush it becomes clear that his support is much more primal and stupid. A lot of Bush's support is based in these ridiculous cultural issues like stance against gays and abortion. Its much more of an "angry white male" backlash. I don't know how to counter it, because smart women are never going to allow Roe v Wade to go down. But these are the key to Bush's strength and nothing else he does matters.
