We were kicking butt in Nam in 68, the TET offense was the largest modern day defeat for an army(the viet cong) but Dan Rather and the other traitors in the liberal media said it was a lost for us. Without those traitors the Cong were gonna plead for peace

Why would anyone support this war anymore? It's almost as bad as Vietnam was around 1968. That is, it was based on a bunch of lies, it was eating up US soldiers and it has no clear goal or end in sight.

Isn't this the best case scenario, realistically? The global bully is bogged down, thus we have democracy and socialism finally being allowed to flourish in Latin America.
