I play WoW ... it is my sole gaming addiction (I tend to have one at a time just due to time constraints) and it is very well done as far as MMORPGs go. Actually, none better in my estimation. Unfortunately, that map isn't working for me. J

Instead of a subpoena for Google, DOJ should go to www.google.com In this case, the Justice Department wants information not for a criminal investigation, but simply as background for a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the Child Online Protection Act of 1998. That law was struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court as too broad, preventing adults from accessing legal sites. The case was returned to the lower courts. Google and the other search engines are not even parties in that case. But the Justice Department believes Google's data would be of "significant assistance to the government's preparation of its defense." You can imagine all sorts of instances in which information from businesses or individuals might be "helpful" to the government. But being helpful isn't the standard under the Constitution, which doesn't allow "unreasonable searches and seizures." That means government doesn't have free rein to engage in arbitrary fishing expeditions in the vague hopes of finding something helpful. modbee.com this hearing is in San Jose?
