Kennedy didn't escalate anything, you fat liar. Nixon took over for LBJ and escalated the war even more, dropping more bombs on that little country than we did in the entire WWII, all based on lies.

American troop levels increased each year of the Kennedy Administration. American troop levels reached a maximum under Johnson not Nixon. Each year of the Nixon Administration troop levels decreased. There were over twice as many U.S. military battle deaths during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations (1968 being the worst year) than under Nixon. B52 bombing sorties began during the Johnson Administration in 1965 and reached a peak in 1968 (also during the Johnson Administration). JFK was a real Cold Warrior - Joe McCarthy was even his niece's Godfather.
