Kennedy didn't escalate anything, you fat liar. Nixon took over for LBJ and escalated the war even more, dropping more bombs on that little country than we did in the entire WWII, all based on lies.

There were over twice as many U.S. military battle deaths during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations (1968 being the worst year) than under Nixon. B52 bombing sorties began during the Johnson Administration in 1965 and reached a peak in 1968 (also during the Johnson Administration).
