Reagan negotiated with terrorists. Of course we don't want to, but sometimes we do. How about negotiating with corrupt politicians covering up their crimes in Washington, looting mour treasury and environment, letting good US jobs flee overseas and subverting our democracy, freedoms and honest public debate? Which has harmed the USA more, 9-11 or the estimated 6.5 trillion in additional debt Bushies are dumping on us and our children going forward? As for Americans killed, why are the 3000 or so Americans killed in Iraq any less a loss than the 3000 or so killed on 9-11? And don't tell me we had to attack Iraq, because we didn't. It was Bush's decision, and he lied to us about why he did it. Also, if you want to talk counter-terrorism, why did Bush ignore the 8-6 warnings, let Osama go at Tora Bora and deplete all our resources on Iraq instead of places real terrorists actually came from?
