re: Nasdaq DHIL $42 - Diamond Hill Investment Management

- new highlight, another Asset Manager (US based)

A new find of mine, another Asset management firm: DHIL (Nasdaq) - Diamond Hill Investment.. $42.00 This one is growing faster than frank Holmes "GROW" (US Global). DHIL now has AuM of $1890m and marketcap is aruound $65m USD - this clearly is another firm with a rather limited amount of outstanding shares: Only 1.7m shares are outstanding.. MCAP right now is at 3.3% of AuM .. now one must understand that AuM (Assets under Management) are growing 100-300% a year at Diamond Hill.. Earnings and revenues are growing nicely also..

finance.yahoo.com

They have grown AuM from December 2005 to January 2006 by 15%. Incredible.. And by around 8% from January to February... I wished I were onboard under $30.. doesn't matter much ultimately. This might turn into yet another Nyse: BEN (Ben Franklin Resources)..

They (DHIL) are the prime asset manager in Ohio and have some real whizkids onboard. Mostly, publicly traded mutual funds, inlcuding one "market neutral" product .. which is bordering a hedge fund in its concept.

Kudos to Paul Senior for discussing this company on another thread, raising my interest here..
