I know my current brokerage firm is much faster than some I have had previously. (In the past the particular companies also varied on the input date, which effected my receipt date.)

I have several accounts with Qcom in them (I am obscenely overweighed in the Q), only one of which I get the hard copy annual report/proxy, the others come from email.

told guy i hadn'treceived my proxy yet but i intended to vote. he said ok and hung up saying i will receive it soon.

i held a stock last quarter and dam if they didn't call everyday to vote. i figured no way, would i vote after those phones calls. it was small amount of stock.

i assume qcom is concerned about getting something approved in the proxy and want as many votes as possible . this never happen with qcom in my ten years.
