I think you interpret me incorrectly. I am not even invested in GOOG at the moment--so why would I only need positive comments? KIS, when I take him off ignore to read his messages, is as insulting as possible. Brian, I stopped reading when he got involved in a political rant. I don't know what either has posted since, but if you look at the header to the new thread, it says pumping or dumping. People have been complaining and wanted a moderated thread so, I made one. They can post there or not. Just trying to be helpful.

I have to agree, new board not necessary, neither warranted. If absurd comments or misinformation is posted, both positive and negative, then those posters should be challenged a couple of times and then pretty much ignored by the rest of the board. They will get tired of talking to themselves eventually, and from lacking attention from others. New investors will be able to figure things out themselves by sifting through the posts; after a while it becomes very clear who is misinformed and who isn't. Just my two bits :)

I've known KIS for years so I tolerate him a little better than others. But Brian's never ending diatribe about GOOG wrt China and "free speech" is really tiring. It is a veiled stab at a right wing dialogue, and has NOTHING whatsoever to do with GOOG stock or GOOG the company. He needs to post things like that on a political thread, and as we all know, the minute stock threads turn into political threads they go downhill in a hurry. I am much more tolerant of KIS who posts only negative stuff on GOOG the company.
