Lizzie, RE: GOOG reports a disappointing quarter which basically confirms the underlying theme on the street today (created by the msn/yhoo miss)- that the entire market for internet ads is slowing. FWIW, Lizzie, contrary to what you say, I have not heard ANYBODY claim that the market for Internet ads is slowing. That isn't the underlying theme at all on the Street. Right now the prominent theme on the Street is that GOOG is an unstoppable juggernaut. The only thing remotely close to what you're saying is the reasons some people are giving about why the market for Internet ads MIGHT slow in the future.
