Hey, you stole that idea from MacArthur.

That's exactly what he proposed back in the 50s to keep the 300k Chinese "freedom fighters" (regular troops ordered there by Mao) out of Korea.
Truman - another dem - didn't like it and fired him.

Iran is not that close to Israel.

That's not what I meant. Israel would cease to exist because much of the world would attack Israel. Israel is pretty much hated in the entire third world; not just in the Muslim world. It has become a symbol of American imperialism and control of the UN. Of course, the US could intervene and protect Israel but then its very likely that would lead to Armageddon.

Iran is not that close to Israel. I have an idea - Israel can create a protective wall of radiation by dropping nukes here and there on their hostile neigbors. It should be fairly cheap.....

Maybe Israel should drop enough nukes on its neighbors that the Israeli landmass separates from Lebanon-Syria-Jordan-Egypt, and the island of Israel can float across the Mediteranean to dock in Italy, and then the Israelis can start building "settlements" in the Vatican....Italians would probably object violently while Lebanon-Syria-Egypt-Jordan call for a peaceful, negotiated solution.
