Just came across your post on EFCR. I feel badly for Jed who seems to be giving up on it.

Message 22171386

I had warned him long ago that it seemed to be a typical diluter that promised, as opposed to a company with promise.

In any event, wondering if anyone took up your bet.

Comparing COVAD and a company like EFCR or PLNI is really apples/oranges and I'm not saying one approach is better or worse. I'm not going to bash a penny stock with obvious and generic issues. I'll leave that for the bashers. Furthermore, I play a ton of penny stocks but I treat them much differently from my microcaps, small caps or large caps.

No way that I would have as much money in an EFCR as I would in a DVW.

DVW now looks like it may have a shot going forward. Still lots of issues but it's not a pink penny company with its attendant issues. Looks like they may pick up some decent business from Verizon out of location. WiMax if and when. And still a takeover candidate, perhaps by Vonage, which will have plenty of cash if their IPO is successful, or even Ebay or Amazon as the SKYPE deal plays out in the new world of telecommunications.
