Hawk....I read s2's article. There are quote marks in it. I don't see where those items inside the quote marks are documented anywhere. Did you? Is there a book out someplace with those so-called direct quotes in it? Or was there an investigation (like the 9-11 Investigation) that could have had any of those quotes in it?

Can an article be written by anyone actually saying exact quotes with quote marks included, and the article not be correct? Isn't that slander?

I have never heard Powell, nor Tenent say any of these things themselves, have you?

You are right. We need to know if those were their words, or were they the words of a political hack, who was stupid enough to put words in someone elses' mouth, and also stupid enough to, by putting quote marks around the words, open himself up to a charge of slander?

We need a tape recording of that actual supposed conversation.
