You can always try an older version of ZA if Kerio doesn't suit your fancy.

ZA ver 5.5.94.0 seems to be widely considered the least troublesome older version of ZA...I use it.

Stock Bull,

The alert issue I had went beyond just telling what programs had internet access. It was a problem with sub-programs, to coin a phrase. I can't remember which programs caused this, but I would give access to a program I know, like an email client. That program would start and Kerio would stay silent, but then the program would call another process, say to check mail. Kerio would show an alert wanting my approval for the process, telling me that it was called by the email program. I had the same choices, but for a process I don't know anything about. So I would give permission for one time use, then next time I'd get asked again.

I didn't feel comfortable giving blanket approval to a process that could conceivably be used by other programs to phone home. Might have been that no other program could use the process, but how would I know? I wasn't willing to research each one.

ZA doesn't ask me, once I've approved the original calling program. Perhaps it was just the way I had Kerio configured, but I couldn't figure out how to change it.

I'm happy to hear Kerio fixed the slow boot.
