CNN vote is only 52-48 in favor of Sheehan. I was expecting it to be over 80% in her favor.

I wonder what the vote would be if the question was whether Sheehan could wear a t-shirt with a number on it instead of saying it was an anti-war slogan.

Do you agree with the decision by Capitol Police to remove activist Cindy Sheehan from the gallery at the president's State of the Union speech because she was wearing a T-shirt with an antiwar slogan? * 18667 responses

Yes, such behavior is not allowed in that setting and is inappropriate. 48%

No, she was a legitimately invited guest and deserves to have her right to free speech honored. 52%

On the MSNBC poll more people are voting that she should have been removed for inappropriate attire at such an auspicious occasion..

CANNOT believe this..

I think it was because of her visit to CHAVEZ... and what she said about Bush..

Reminds me of Chicago years ago and the convention where protestors were arrested in droves..

12:18a ET - MSNBC now has an online poll on whether the Capitol Police should have arrested Sheehan for wearing a T-shirt. Go register your opinion... msnbc.msn.com;

NOT!

What if they gave a "poll" and nobody came? This is simply using Cindy for marketing, getting web hits for some sleazy "poll" before they ever even get the story right.

Oh, wait! It isn't even about getting the story right. It's just about twisting events into eyeballs.

Puhleeeze.
