George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin et al risked their lives for the right to protest against their government. I wonder what the Iraqis are thinking about this. Who's 'civilized' now? Unbelievable. Words printed on a piece of clothing. Words that weren't threatening in anyway....illegal in rightwing America. We are so headed for a police state if we aren't already there. Is this really what cloth-coat Republicans want? Is this what Reaganites want? Really?

Why weren't the police POLITE to Cindy Sheehan? Where are their manners and their dignity and their professional conduct? Do they have orders from Republicans to rough up Dems whenever possible? Are they impolite to Dems on a daily basis? Why did one protestor, a Republican, get treated politely while the Dem was hauled off brutally and roughly to jail? Equal protection? Is this China? Is this Burma? Is this NK? Is this the old Soviet Union? What is happening to our country? What a disaster.
