heh. John. I went to a dinner with some long time friends last night and of the four of us, I was the token Repub.... The hostess said that she had debated about turning the speech on....one sorta snickered, and I said "I figured I was the only one who cared enough about what was going on that would want to watch it, but I can do that later...." Then, for about 30 seconds, dead silence. Of course, I didn't add that some donkeys would rather read what OTHERs thought about the speech, rather than hearing it directly from the elephant himself. <ggg> What speech was that? ;-)
