"It helps if it has a point, useless efforts to gain air time with no real message, waste of time." No, that is wrong. Whether or not you think it has a point is irrelevant if there are people who feel it has a point. If you don't address the concerns of the people, then the elected officials run the risk of seeming disconnected. And the issue of troop withdrawal is one that has a growing constituency. Good or bad, right or wrong, Cindy has managed to insert herself into the debate. Which is why arresting her wasn't very smart. Ignoring her would have been smarter. Sadly, doing the smart thing isn't a hallmark of this administration. Doing the authoritarian thing is. And it shows.
