Thank you. The speech yesterday went quite well. A friend who gets paid to do speeches provided some pointers. He suggested a couple pauses that were not obvious to me. In a brief speech of about 4 minutes it generated two applause lines and over 1/4 of the adults who heard it complimented me. It was a small setting, and most of the people know me fairly well.

For my first formal speech, I was quite pleased.
