A global depression will not affect energy stocks IMO. The worlds population grows by 3 billion people a day and some of them drink oil like baby formula.

I agree with regard to the Dollar based world.

Not sure if the economic impact will be the same in Asia.

China is well into feeding their own growth now.

Maybe they don't need quite the export volume to sustain their growth.

The weaning of oil from petrodollars may well signal the demise of the dollar based world.
