Jagfan, I can't wait for Kerry to nuance his way out of that one. Here are some possibilities:

a) "They weren't children when they graduated."
b) "We only count the children that 'matter.'"
c) "It all depends on what your definition of 'graduate' is."
d) "They didn't graduate before they did."
