Bush's speech was completely misleading. He was not honest about a single major issue. On Iraq for instance, he kept connecting it to Al Qaida. Iraq had nothing to do with AL Qaida until Bush himself brought them together. And right now Al Qaida is very unpopular in Iraq. The main insurgents are nationalists. And it's a civil war which Bush has put the US in the middle of. Clear comparisons to Vietnam are obvious. And the same outcome is likely, that is no victory -- ever -- no matter how long we stay there. because as long as we stay there we create animosity and insurgency. New poll shows 43% of Iraqis think it's OK to attack US troops. That's proof Bush is living in fantasyland.
