After Katrina, the same people who couldn't get food or water into New
Orleans for almost a week sure got those rebuilding contracts to
Halliburton in a hurry, didn't they? There was no mysterious delay
there, was there? One of the first things the Roberts Supreme Court did was to
strike down a huge damage award against big tobacco. Now in walks Strip
Search Sammy Alito, who seems to have no problem with corporations
taking advantage of consumers whenever they feel like it. In fact, that's
probably the prime reason Dumbya wanted him on the court, since his
history of having rulings overturned indicates that his "Brilliant
Legal Mind" was being regularly overruled and thus considered wrong by
his peers on a regular basis. But he is totally in love with Corporate
America--more than America itself in fact--and that seems to have
impressed "the right people."

There is a pattern to this administration's behavior and it is almost
complete indifference to everything except money.
