Medicaid is not something the poor own. Cutting it is not taking something from them, it is giving them less than you used to give them. It might be a bad thing, it might hurt people, but it isn't taking something from anyone.

I don't think I've seen a clearer indication of our differences, Tim. That's as stark as it gets. When tax cuts are paid for by decreasing medicaid, you say something is not being taken from medicaid recipients. There may be some conceptual universe in which that's true; folk just don't live there.

Ditto for your discussions of education. It's agree to disagree time.
