You still wanna stay the course? Won't be much left of our country. As usual, who are you having this discussion with? I was just pointing out the fact that the US has numerous ways to punish Iran, I wasn't advocating anything.... Likewise, Iran's allies have also "numerous ways" to punish the US should it launch another war against Iran.... Here's my favorite, Machiavellian scenario so far: as the US turns up the heat on Iran and the UNSC is poised to inflict sanctions on Iran, Venezuela's president Hugo Chavez is blown to pieces while travelling aboard his presidential jet or his motorcade. The assassination of Chavez, one of Latin America's most popular leaders, will send shockwaves throughout Latin and North America, will it not? And we can already surmise that, whoever will carry it out, the blame will be squarely placed on the US --especially if some US rogues/patsies get arrested in Venezuela in the aftermath.... At that point, Bush and the US government will find themselves in the same shoes as Syrian president Bashar Assad, following the bombing of Rafik Hariri's motorcade: all the US denials and pleas of innocence will fall on deaf ears... After all, didn't Jesus Quack Pat Robertson publicly hint at the assassination of Hugo Chavez? Now, those who would mastermind the assassination of Hugo Chavez won't leave it at that. The assassination will surely raise anti-US feelings among all Latinos --including those living in the US-- to fever pitch... Drug cartels operating in and around the US will be turned into potential terrorist outfits OVERNIGHT. Get the picture? Oh, btw, how's your fencing of the Mexican border progressing? On schedule? Gus
