JDN, you don't really believe the Government has spent $85 Billion on the Gulf Coast, do you?

JDN, Don't blame the whole state of Louisiana for the faults of New Orleans. There are a lot of good people north and east of Baton Rouge, that are nothing like the pigs in New Orleans.

I agree that New Orleans is, and has been, a cess pool for around 200 years, and the people there think they are uniquely qualified for special treatment, without lifting a finger to do anything for themselves. Their government, and police department, have been riddled with graft, and corruption for more decades than I have been on this planet.

We should let them sink, or learn to swim on their own.
