American women with brains vote democratic. The Bush rightwing is for putting women back to the 50's. They give tons of help to the rich 95% male executive class, but never any help to women. Bush and his yes-men in congress just finished slashing all kinds of programs like Headstart which help women get some free time from raising their kids. Also, Bushies have trashed Medicare, Medicaid and are trying to do the same to Social Security. These programs help women much more than men. One of the first moves Bush made in 2001 was to slash breast cancer research even though Laura is a proponent on that issue. All kinds of ways Bushies diss women. The source of it is in the rightwing evangelical church where women are considered 2nd class citizens.
