This is a link to the "official" Quadrennial Review report that was issued at noon today. On page 54 of that report, they state that they intend to have all 112 modernized C-5 aircraft in the air mobility fleet!

That SHOULD mean that the major C-5 release we've waited for from the TOP contract will be forthcoming. Might not be today or tomorrow, but certainly in the future if they expect to keep the entire fleet flying! That 112 number also means that they have pulled the 14 planes out of service that they talked about, and they are leaving all the rest in service.
