If this was 1 mosque instead of 6 Southern Baptist churches, it would be front page news.....but churches burning? There were two minor injuries reported among firefighters tackling the blazes. NBC affiliate WVTM-TV reported that at least one church burned to the ground. WVTM reporter Debra Des Vignes told MSNBC that authorities believe all the fires were deliberately set. The pastor of another church discovered a fire there around 4:30 a.m. local time. The Rev. David Hand of the Old Union Baptist Church said the blaze was extinguished before it could cause serious damage. A sixth fire damaged another church late Thursday afternoon. msnbc.msn.com
